our STORY
ConnectIT was conceived from a need for our community and the passion from our owner, Brandon McCook, who started his journey as a satellite installation tech, way back in 2002. In 2004, he moved his family to North Platte, Nebraska to give his family better opportunities. While living here, he started working with the owner of a local shop that did satellite installation, home theater, distributed audio, and surveillance cameras. This is where a new passion was born - specializing in all these fields, as well as working with contractors and designing homes and commercial areas from the ground up.
In 2019, COVID was gripping the country and Brandon was forced out of the field by 2020 because of fear of spreading the virus. After 3 years of absence, but still keeping up with industry trends and doing the occasional side job, in 2023 he was approached with the opportunity to
start again, but with an ownership opportunity, which is how ConnectIT was born.
